About The SeniorIT Foundation

Bridging generational gaps by empowering seniors with essential tech skills to enrich their lives.

SeniorIT team Teaching Senior

Our Mission

Our Mission is to help bridge the generational gap that has formed between the seniors and other generations through technology. The seniors in our world are getting disconnected due to their lack of ability to understand simple technological advances and we would like to help them gain a basic understanding of this so that they are more comfortable. Not only do we want to teach them about simple technology but we want to help them utilize it to enrich their lives with the world of technology.

Our Vision

Our vision is to have our volunteers in senior centers across California helping the elderly with their problems. We are striving for our videos and lessons to be seen and utilized by seniors and anyone else who would need tech help.

Our Story

How We Got Started

The SeniorIT Foundation was inspired by our own grandparents, who often needed help navigating modern technology. Founded by friends Rohan Devnani, Yuvaan Parwaney, and Ayesha Godhwani, we realised that many seniors face similar challenges with their devices, from setting up email to managing passwords and using social media. Our mission became clear: to empower seniors with the knowledge and confidence to use technology effectively. We began by visiting local senior centers in the Bay Area, offering hands-on assistance and creating instructional videos. Our efforts quickly made a positive impact, helping seniors feel more connected and secure in the digital world.

Where We Are Now

As our initiative gained momentum, we recruited student volunteers who shared our vision, expanding our reach and services. Today, the SeniorIT Foundation continues to thrive, bridging the digital divide for seniors and fostering meaningful intergenerational connections. Whether you’re a senior seeking help, a volunteer eager to make a difference, or an organization looking to partner with us, we welcome you to join our community. Together, we can ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age.

ADITYA (ADI) GODHWANI

Director of Marketing

Aditya (Adi) Godhwani is a second-year college student at Santa Monica College and Ohlone College in California, where he is preparing to study business and entrepreneurship. Growing up with both sets of grandparents in the same neighborhood, Adi spent much of his childhood alongside them, gaining first hand insight into the challenges seniors face in today’s fast-changing digital world.

A lifelong athlete, Adi began playing table tennis at the age of seven. He homeschooled during the last two years of high school to pursue the sport professionally, representing the United States on the Junior National Team and later the U.S. Men’s Table Tennis Team. His international competitions have taken him to over 50 countries, giving him not only a global perspective but also a deep connection to Indian and Chinese cultures. Fluent in both Hindi and Mandarin, Adi has experienced how these cultures create strong community structures to support seniors.

With this inspiration, Adi joined SeniorIT , as the director of marketing, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering older adults in the U.S. through short, simple video tutorials that make technology and the internet more approachable. By blending his global experiences with his passion for entrepreneurship and service, Adi hopes to bring a sense of community, connection, and confidence to seniors navigating the digital age.
